In the span from that seventeenth century afternoon to the twenty-first, a lot has happened here. Many of the sites and structures from Medford's early centuries remain, while many others have vanished, and are remembered only in stories and vintage images. Patricia Saunders is a fine arts photographer and one of the founding members of the grassroots organization Medford Arts Center, Inc. Always intrigued by Medford's rich history, this is the second book she authored connecting the city's past with the present. She enjoyed perusing the vintage photographs and books from Medford's past and photographing the changes in the city today.
